Caught In A Riff Poem by Timothy Lee Hollandsworth Jr.

Caught In A Riff

Rating: 4.5

Same old story just another damn day.
Same old song you've heard before.
You can't get your way, you can't take it anymore.

Don't give me no blues boy.
Take a walk in my shoes boy.

Then you'll know what it means to be
Caught in a riff
Lost in the drift
Turn another page

Gonna write something new.
Not gonna be just like you.
Working 9 to 5, man alive, I can't take this jive.

Don't give me no blues boy.
Just let it loose boy.

Then you'll see what it means to be
Caught in a riff
Lost in the drift
Can't get away.

Rolling tumble weed
Hit by a train
Got all I need
To play these games
But it's a trap

Caught in riff
Lost in the drift

Peerbocus is right, and it was used in the proper manner. Quality work. GW62
