Georgios Venetopoulos

Bronze Star - 2,297 Points (Athens, Greece)

- Carousel - Poem by Georgios Venetopoulos

The carousel round goes her lyrics' gist
as solitude dispels the odor of primrose
- two Tango dancing figures fade in mists
- the carousel round goes.

And the enfolding of the silence slows,
in truth advances her responses kissed,
betimes the corteges of night depose.

Disporting round trajectories persist,
their merriment of altered times disclose;
- Two loving forms in downpour dance amidst,
- the carousel round goes.
