Candle Blown Poem by Giselle Joseph

Candle Blown

The heavens cry out in pain
while we fight
and on each other
pass blame
another innocent soul
violently taken
for a score
still weighing uneven
sacrificed without her will
raped, strangled and buried
head only
what a price to pay
for anothers wrong
leaving others to mourn.
