Can You Take Me Please? Poem by michelle al G

Can You Take Me Please?

As i sat here thinking of her, why i can't be there?
With my beloved, that can't be unloved
Oh friend you will never know, how much pain i saw
She went once, can't let her go twice
When she is not around, i can't be found
Faith is now not my friend, and i want to Surrender
Clinching on to a rope, and i am just in a mope
Heartless i became, i am not the same
they ask why, i say she took my heart away
until you come back, i have to put my smile on a rack
drinking coffee, was our favorite hobby
sitting on the bench, don't have to even cross the fence
just to avoid those little kids, don't want to broke the reeds
watching the sunset together, you are my mother
missing you, like a little feather lost in the weather
the bench we sat on, the coffee we drank
misses you like a lot, it became like a rot
the sunset became like a dark set, it is you i can't get
you going away i hate, because you are my life mate
Oh god can you take me, once and for all? !
