Camping Poem by Custous Angelus

Camping

Rating: 4.5

You pack your bag
Not too heavy not too light
With few changes of clothes
Enough food to last you for few days
And several good books
You pack your bag and you prepare to leave
Get on the car and drive down the road
The grey forest we live in
Isn’t as pleasant as the forest that nature made
So we leave
We are going to camp
Where we can ignore our responsibilities
Where we can cast aside our worries
Where we can relax
With no electronics to distract us
With a good book in hand
And listening to music that Mother Nature plays
And enjoying the beautiful night sky
And enjoying a cool breeze
We leave to go camping
One author once said
Happiness is walking through an unknown mountain
So to me happiness is going camping
Where Mother Nature takes care of all my worries
And where I can truly relax
