Call To Rescue Poem by Nkwain Stephen

Call To Rescue

CALL TO RESCUE

Termites are hewing our treasury.
Our wares are at risk.
Arise komans! arise and rescue!
arise and glean the remains,
The remains of our beautifuf tales.
Where is the tale of Trug?
Where is the tale of Gv+mujiso'?
Where is the tale Bo Aku?
Where is the tale Gv+kem and Nyamabo?
Where are all the tales of kom?
They are sinking
They are drowning and dearly
Need your rescue.
Bring even the broken pieces!
What shall we tell our children?
Atleast, we were told something.
Shall we tell them greek tales
Thereby denying our forefathers'
Existence?
No. arise komans! arise Komrades!
Rescue us from this Komputer World!
