Call It Insanity Poem by Tonya June

Call It Insanity

I hide the pain with laughter
You'll never see me cry
So if I just keep laughing
You know the reason why

Hidden in the darkness, you'll never find the true me
I don't let no one in, that's the safest way to be
Some call it insanity
Others call it a sin

You'll never understand it all
Unless you know the pain I'm in
Searching for the light in the darkness of the day
Hoping for an answer each night i bow my head to pray

I sit and wait for the match to strike and the fire to blaze
Wondering if the flame and a little help from God
Will get me out of this maze...
