Calamity Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Calamity

The horrible natural calamity
Had destroyed the great nation,
I screamed in pain when I dreamt this terrible dream last night,
The notorious devil relished this worst situation.
But then something miracle happened,
As I suddenly saw the great poet coming out of the debris,
He was the only soul to survive,
The dreadful villain could do no harm to him,
Then he boldly challenged the heinous catastrophe,
"You brute!
I will rebuild my nation again in the strongest and wisest way."
Immediately I woke up and confidently felt
The distinguished bard is always the real champion.
