Caged Clown Poem by Max Soon

Caged Clown

Caged Clown

Black and White,
No colours in sight.
Clowning outside,
Crying inside.

Always with a mask,
From dawn, to dusk.
Concealing, Revealing,
Not my right to ask.

Like a Puppet I'm controlled,
Controlled to run, controlled to stroll.
Never to whine, never to scowl,
Inside the cage never to be known.

Outside the windows, white clouds float.
How blue is the sky,
Never was i told.
Maybe someday I might know,
When someone saves me and my miserable soul.

This is a very cool look at what the cage can do to us Max! Excellent expression here. 15 are you? You could have fooled me but then again, most can! Good to read you, smiling at you, Tai
