By Chance Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

By Chance

Found a seashell by chance
when I had expected none
Hope that it was a sign
Not just my overactive mind.
Trying desperately to find
some meaning in life.
Strong and beautiful
this shell, though tiny
Reminded me to keep faith
in the power of destiny.

Nidhi, another lovely poem. Reminds me of one I wrote very long ago about picking up a tiny bee on a beach. It was more about how that scrap of life is life, as opposed to the lifeless stone next to it. By the way, I'd be very happy to chat to you more about finding meaning in life.

Thanks. Isn't it amazing that we can see something apparently insignificant and make it meaningful just by our thoughts and imagination.
