Buttercup, a Canada lynx,
Ponders whether or not to do
Another nap of forty winks
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
Being a cat, her normal day
And night is twenty hours snooze
Which is simply the feline way,
One of many habit to dos.
So when she is up and about,
Visitors lucky to see her
Have picked a 'purr'fect time no doubt,
Cuz soon another nap for sure.

The next visit that you may make
Will you find Buttercup awake?
