If you help the monkey grow
he will give you a great show
when the snow is falling down
he'll jump straight into your gown
lie and chatter as if dead
he will jump straight in his bed
if the sun at morning rise
he will climb out by surprise
if he seas a higher boss
he will flea him treat you cross
when it doesn't work out well
he will smooth you up real swell
act as if he nothing did
jump from joy and gaze with wit
not withstanding his demands
act if all he understands
when at home cries so alone
but as your boss he'll be a stone
if you help the monkey grow
he will give you a great show
