Bursting At The Seams Poem by Nerissa Morton

Bursting At The Seams

I'm bursting at the seams;
Watching you plead for girls;
As desperate as a straving dog begging for a bone.

I'm bursting at the seams;
You've been hurt;
So have I
I just don't know if I want to take the risk;
If you want to take the risk
So, I stay hidden in the shadows of our lives

I'm bursting at the seams;
I am here,
Always here
But I am one of the guys

I've burst at the seams;
You have unintentionally destroyed me;
Shattered my wall and exposed my weakness;
It's my fault though;
My fault for caring so much
For a boy with a broken heart.
