Burning House Poem by Courtney Shanahan

Burning House

You say your sorry but you don't mean it
Are you just going to stand there
Watching me burn in the house you built
Are you just going to stand there
Hearing me cry out in pain
Screaming for you to let me go
Because I love you, I will die for you
In this house you built, in our life, by myself
I'm gone and I am never coming back
