Build My Gallows High Poem by Christopher Tye

Build My Gallows High

Build My Gallows High

No crimes did I commit,
I was just born different,
But I'm just as human as you,
Persecuted and locked away,
For just being us,
Our crime just not fitting in,
What difference does gender make,
Or autism and down's,
We're all still human,
So build my gallows high,
For if being us is a crime,
The whole world is guilty.
