Broken Wings
Broken Heart
I can't understand
Everything is crushing me

I try to stand
over and over
I shakily stumble to my feet
again and again

Broken Smile
I won't rely on anyone
my pride may be my death

My feet hit the floor
I stand balanced
but my feet sink through
being dragged down

Broken Wings
Broken soul
being pulled
deeper and darker

I crash into the floor
a heart with wounds
a gashed little soul
lost in the darkness
