Broken Teddy Poem by Izobelle Pulgo

Broken Teddy

Rating: 2.0

Stars on a red sky
Storms on the way
Teddy, why didn't you try?
I could have helped you flee.

Knowing you had made me see
Broken Teddy, how strong I can be
But you left before I could stand
You let go of my hand.

Broken Teddy, you're my only friend
Won't you come back
I'll help you mend.

Broken Teddy, my only friend
Please come back
In suffering, together let's end.

This is gorgeous.... I wish I had a team of medicos to send to you... I believe no poet's life is complete unless they've made a tribute to their T-Bear... but your journey is certainly not irrepairable... keep writing it One Peace at a Time
