Broken Tears Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

Broken Tears

Rating: 5.0

It's not a protest
It's an awakening
An outpouring of light
When Love trounces over evil
Goodness is erected on the streets of life
A stampede of hooves
On the path of wickedness
The venom of old days
Diluted with broken tears
To produce a revolution
A people standing up
Against injustices
It's a people standing up for Love
How can a few rotten apples?
Delay the rupture of consciousness
And prohibit the day of spiritual enlightenment
