Broken Hearts Poem by Grace Hays

Broken Hearts

Rating: 5.0

Crying a river of tears
Since I talked to you
someone that I love
How could you say
what you said
It broke my heart
To hear you talk like that
Especially to our daughter
You may live far away
But you didn't have to
talk like that to her
She doesn't need to hear
that you hate me so
You don't need
to drag her into our fights
She misses you so much
more than you will ever know
Now she has a broken heart
All because of what you said
She doesn't like it
When you speak ill of me
Or when you don't listen and
try to get me to fight with you
on the phone in front of her
So here we are
with broken hearts
When the man we love
hurt us so
Just leave us alone
To mend our broken hearts

If we could only say the things that really mattered, when it didn't feel like talking to the wall. I'm sure that wright this made you feel somewhat bette, and to that I say good for you. Some times our heartst scream, but our voices are silent. This is a great way to get to testing times in ones life. Best of luck! Remeber you never need to hold back here! release yourself of those painful moments and rejoice that you've spoken your mind. This is a muse I often find myself inspiring things that need to be said, so keep saying them. Keep of the great work.

That was powerful. I feel it. Such pain poured out onto the page, like u poured it by the pitcherful.
