Bring On The Night Poem by M.G. Knight

Bring On The Night

Devided by daylight
hot doubt rains down
boils the blood, burns the heart.
Gears screeching
you shouldn't leave me here,
motionless, rusting.
Is that how I end up?
Like the once decent yard,
now covered in moss?
Like the burnt out bulbs,
in the 06 vibe?
Like one of two saplings,
now snapped in half.

Bring on the night,
Bring on the night.
Bring your scent,
Bring your lips,
Bring your eyes,
Bring your arms
Bring your hands
Bring on all of you,

Bring on the night.
