Brian Poem by Tessa Eichhorst

Brian

Rating: 5.0

Cherished words still unspoken, love still
felt but not heard, tears in our eyes,
but joy in our hearts that you are pain
free. Nine years ago, my dearest uncle,
your spirit was set free.

No more pain do you feel, no more
cancer to make you weak. Now you
sit with the angels choir singing of
love and a better place. Your face will
never leave my sight, your voice always
rings in my ears.

Some days when the wind blows just right,
its as if I feel your gentle arms hugging me,
letting me know one day we'll be together;
this time for eternity.

Always a smile on your face-even when
the days were rough. The strongest
man when all odds were against him.
In my eyes you are a survivor. The cancer
never took the true person you were away from us.

Forever you'll be around watching us all, for
you're our hawk in the sky and will always
be a beat in our hearts.
