Both Feet On The Ground Poem by Scott J. Shepard

Both Feet On The Ground

Too many times do thoughts slip past us,
unnoticed, unhinged, misdirected.

I feel lost on the axis pivoting slide
One foot on the ground, the other parallel to my knee,
Tai Chi.

But I don't really know where I belong.
