Boredom Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Boredom

Sitting here watching the minutes tick by,
The boredom seems to be dragging on.
Hoping that the time would just fly,
So that I could get going and be gone.

The boredom seems to overtake my mind,
This just seems that it will never end.
I wish this day could be left behind,
But the time is just not willing to bend.

Thinking of other places I'd rather be,
I wish that I could be somewhere new.
Waiting for the moment to be set free,
And for this boredom to be through.
