Body Parts Poem by Dorsey Baker

Body Parts

Rating: 5.0

Stiff as starched shirt
It's early morning
Slept all night
Still dog tired
Can't do no push ups
Ain't got the arms no more
Want to race around the block
But your legs
They tell you
You had better take your time
You want them to tell
Lies to you
But your body parts
They can't tell you
Nothing but the truth!

Very true! There are times when the mind is will but the body shouts no. A good 5*
