Bobby The Snail Poem by John Churchill

Bobby The Snail

Rating: 5.0

This is the tale of Bobby the Snail
who lived all alone in a shell
he wasn't house proud
passed wind rather loud
and gave off a very bad smell

Bobby one day was invited to stay
by lovely young snail named of Nell
but not before long
her house it did pong
of Bobby and his awful smell

She told him, you know, of that smelly B O
and sent him back into his shell
the next time he was seen
he was spotlessly clean
and he smells rather lovely as well.

A great new perspective on those awful shell-suits! I wonder if he knows Jimmy the Riddle...he's not too house proud either! Great fun, John :) Jack :)

Hello, John - so good to have you back! A cute poem here! I think my son's lives parallel that of Bobby the Snail - it will take Looooooooove to get 'em clean! Okay, that's stretching it some (except for one who shall remain unnamed!) ... Smiles, Esther : ]
