As humans, we never really fall out of love
We move on with the world because we have to
But you fill the empty spaces of my heart
And not even you can keep me from loving you

I’d live each precious moment over again
If I had the power to turn back time
I’d never apologize for my feelings
Even though with yours they will never rhyme

The rose has grown thorns, but it’s worth my blood –
I’d do it all again
You’d never be without my love
Even if I knew what I know now then

Because I’ll love you always and forever
To be complete I must have you in my life
You can tell me that I don’t need you
But that won’t explain why I dream of being your wife

I have bared my soul to you
And you brushed by like you didn’t give a damn
I used to wish that I was invisible
Now I’ve realized that, at least to you, I already am.
