Bleeding Heart Poem by Nina Joseph

Bleeding Heart

You been long gone
hours and days i mourn
till time turned to stone
since you went away from home.
To forget you ain't easy
doesn't matter if i go crazy
Writing poems doesn't ease
the pain left, has not freeze
Memories don't easily fly
sometimes i wonder why..
not me and let you stay
On your birthday i made a cake
grilled your favourite part of stake
but you were not there for dinner
so i put your picture on your chair
and felt your spirit drove near
It's not easy to say
the less i try the more i hurt
Waiting for rivers to dry
is how i wait to forget you
and how can i stand without you?
would anybody tell me how can it be..
any better than this?
