Bird Tracks Gone Poem by Saiom Shriver

Bird Tracks Gone

Bird tracks stopped suddenly....
the snowgeese had taken flight.
The poet's penink dried for
in samadhi he'd lost
the desire to write.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Note: Samadhi: a Sanskrit word
for the ecstasy that monks in the Tibetan,
Zen Buddhist, Hindu, Sufi, Christian,
agnostic and other paths experience
... some after many decades... some
almost immediately
