The love that sought me
Found me in the murk
And by sovereign mercy
Dispensed grace on me
Redeemed me betimes
Nurtures me each day

The love that bought me
With His own shed blood
From sin and death to life
Protects me from harm
And delivers me betimes
Through life’s obstacles

The love that molds me
Withholds no discipline
And any purifying fires
To perfect me for duty
To present me in glory
Forever in His embrace

This love consecrated me
His heir from eternity past
