Better Off Without You Poem by Jessica Elizondo

Better Off Without You

Rating: 5.0

Yoiu took that scrap
paper and eched
within it's lines, you
pinned it on my jacket,
and I saw a terrible look
in your eyes, a look I've
never seen come across
that sweet face. You looked
down and walked away
without a word. I quickly
ripped the shred of
paper from my jacket
hoping for atleast a
goodbye, but no infact
the note said ' I love you,
carry me with you, she
means nothing to me,
I need you, I'm sorry baby
I need you too.' I crumpled the
piece of paper and tossed
it aside, looked at you, smiled
and flicked you off with pride.
