Better Friends Poem by Richard Jarboe

Better Friends

Let us become better friends and neighbors,
May the good times we share prevail,
Let's become bosom buddies for sure,
And may our mutual bond never fail.

Let's form a better connection,
Everyone has a talent to give,
Let's form a better collection,
Why should we not want each other to live?

Racism belongs in the trash of history,
Let's forget what misery means,
Let's solve what needs to be done,
And stop this runaround mystery.
