Betrayal Of The Betrayed. Poem by Jordan Antrim

To be betrayed
makes one feel like there stuck in a delayed
time where nothing is right
and the sight
of the betrayer
quickly rips down the layer
of trust that has become a bust
making you feel like you must
do something to help the betrayed.
But as soon as you try you become dismayed
to find that there is nothing you can do
but watch them turn into the tool
of a fool
who has tricked them into thinking
there loved when there honestly sinking
into a hole they won't be able to get out of.

Like a dove
from the clouds above
they become caged
and enraged
but find that there stuck
in the muck
of anothers problems forever.
