Betrayal. Poem by Driss Ezzireg

Betrayal.

Feel free to condemn
What is condemnable.
One life seems too little
To silence the abominable.
Doves love clear skies,
Children fields formidable.
Whales reel the deep seas:
Kingdoms unfathomable.
Feel free to condemn
What is condemnable.
A man's future in his child
Mindful and comfortable.
Stars shine clean and bright;
As they're untouchable.
Feel free to condemn
What is condemnable.
Father Earth our mother;
Our treasure.
Suffer
The measure
Of the damage
Inflicted
On her!
