Benito Mussolini Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Benito Mussolini

Oh my good friend, brother and companion Benito Mussolini of Rome
A warrior among those oppressed by their selfish leaders
Only to be hated in history books among its many readers
But let me tell you of the Benito I've once known as a man
Who was full of ambition or pride in the great way he can
By uniting a nation which was bound to an inevitable collapse
In was in fact his own destiny to achieve and do so perhaps
He fought for those who are ridiculed in their own society
Including the poor and persecuted by others in authority
Benito Mussolini an Immortal by heart and an ally of the German people
And once you get to know him you'll realize that he's quite kind or simple
He struggle his way to the top with its oratorical ability
With its charisma possessed with a blend of simplicity
But like most great leaders who failed he will carry the burden of loss
To be blamed for all the deaths or destruction and all of its high cost
But Benito along with Hirohito and Adolf Hitler was merely playing a game
To be remembered in history long after they were gone in its chosen name
Benito is a fighter and a lover of women by his gentle heart
We will surely remember our battles now that were apart
My Benito will always remain strong and fierce in battle
A family member who is always welcome in my castle
We both laughed before we close our eyes to die
For we both accomplished our task here as we fly
The name Benito will always be remembered right next to Adolf
Names that will resonate forever among our history books
For at this moment we are again alive having different looks
