Beneath The Saint John's Bridge Poem by Kathy Lippard Cobb

donned in camouflage clothing
sits beneath the bridge

his head resting upon graffiti expletives

a vacant stare
before taking another swill
from the brown paper bag

as the rest of the world passes over

unaware
