I'm going to light a candle
Then, I'm going to pray
I'll be talking with the Lord
For I am some things to say

This past year has been a rough one
I'm just not sure where to start
With two sister's passing away
Devastation has torn meapart

I have no more tears to cry now
Sometimes I wonder why go on
It seems like my world is coming aoart
Some days all reasons for living are gone

But I know that I will go on
Just like you do in the heavens above
Your spirit in me is alive and well
You keep my heart filled with love

So if you can help to guide me
Through the coming year
With you in my heart
Peace will always be near

One thing I believe in life
Sometimes we can't do it alone
That's why I look to You
Knowing You will help me home
