Believe Poem by Greggi Leano

Believe

crumpled alone he sits by the fire,
as the sound of plastic is cackling,
and the mood sets his soul to ire,
about the neighborhood he is leaving.

his chest starts to fade with tears,
back in the moment he moved in this hood,
this was where he first drink beers,
and now its about to be a cup of brood.

'If only I could be here forever,
to be with my friends and never change shoes,
then i ask you Lord how to cross this river,
just once, i ask you to erase my blues.'

He is surely going to miss them,
while he thinks about the times of you and I,
he walks outside, cries, grips the emblem,
then the time came for him to wave goodbye.
