Behold The Sweet Angel Poem by Thomas Koron

Behold The Sweet Angel

Behold the sweet angel as she dances,
Bringing heaven with her into the night,
Her eyes glisten—spellbound with her glances—
That soft image twinkling in my sight.
And all her beauty is there on display,
Carrying the scent of every flower.
She breathes a fresh essence into the day;
My thoughts turn towards her at every hour.
Every time that I look up to the skies—
Recalling each moment shared in our youth.
She bore the gifts of heaven in her eyes;
If only courage had allowed my truth.
When love exists—as we knew from the start—
We must keep it safe, chained within the heart.
