Before I Leave This Body Poem by Karin Holloway

Before I Leave This Body

Before I leave this body
I want to have yours.
Float in your cells
and touch your ceilings
taste your thoughts
rub them ear to ear
smear my lips
sucking your ideas.
Let you tickle my ribs
with wry dry humors
doctoring my soul.

Some pleasures one must pursue
Waiting will not win them
