He wrote a letter
To his family
And his kids
With great difficulty
Because he had suffered a stroke
But he was determined to do it
He needed help from other people
In the nursing home
And they offered it to him
Which probably made him happy

This poem is at once both happy and sad. Sad that he wasn't able to accomplish this on his own but yet happy that there were people who were kind enough to help him accomplish something that was so important to him. Very nicely written.
