you hum
you remember
each word
each lyric of
the song
but you are no
longer willing
to utter
it exactly anymore.
you remember the feeling
you always remember
but to say the name
and the place
are not that
important anymore...
it is as though
you want to remember
but you also
want to put things in place
because
you want to forget....
