Because You Are Like My Flower Poem by Ency Bearis

How empty was my garden of dreams
and nothing to grow in my filthy
landfill of my life in that scheme
barren life I have to view seemingly

Somehow time had came somewhat then
the rotten gone into conducive
culture media to live in my garden
and things growing as I observe

Thereby sprouts of wild flowers showed,
snap dragon, michaelmas daisy, dill
kangaroo paw, master wort, bell flower
and I was surprised the rare flower of you

My garden of dreams was then with color
and with rainbow happiness with you
and with other flowers in this filthy
landfill of my life been colorful

But amongst the flowers, I like you
as you are like a Carnation
(the flower of God)to my adoration
that's so lovely and I valued

God sent you to me, to embellish
by your beauty and scent to conceal
my acquired garbage life
to no more dreadful shame I feel

Thanks to God and to you my love
being in my desolate life
to paint the color and freshen my air
being as ornament, me to be no despair
