Beyond the earth and heaven
there’s the golden mansion
where beauty holds its court
impregnable is her fort
Beauty is the supreme deity
adored by every lover
who approaches her for her own sake
not for any boon or reward
Nature, her manifestation
alone can lead you to her throne
where she penances for her children’s sins
in her half-burnt temple
Beauty is the order divine
her home is in the heart’s shrine
where the spirit lights the lamp
wearing the halo of godliness
From the beauty’s fount flow
myriad waters of scented colour
to bathe well the Love’s black stone
all along the elusive wall
Beauty is the harmony of existence
the light rhythm permeating every particle
pervading all feeling and thought
in the human mind and heart
Beauty reflects all goodness in her prismatic mirror
the realm of truth that comes within its ken
or what lies within the reaches of external heaven
but truth is she transcends both, the outer and inner.
