Beauty Reigns Poem by Mitchell Greenwood

Beauty Reigns

Rating: 2.8

It faded
The dreary light of dusk
Revealing an effulgent sun
The rays beat down on me

The sky was painted
Tangerine
With ripples of blue
The hues so vibrant

It faded
The pain inside my heart
Revealing the love
The beauty warmed me

The pain was real
Because I need you near
But the love sustains
Diffusing the hurt as the beauty reigns
