Beauty In My Eyes Poem by Ben Littlechild

Beauty In My Eyes

Rating: 4.3

Your beauty is like a summer rain
And a breath of fresh air you bring to my sight.
Bringing life to those that have withered and refrained.
And an image so haunting it stays in my mind throughout the night.
Like staring at an angel, a halo remains.

Your hair, is like a field of wheat
Gently moved by the whispering wind.
Hypnotically dancing without the use of a beat.
Smelling so heavenly, like Ambrose so sweet.
Immortality seems like a breath compared to a second of your gaze
With all its charm and delight it does amaze.

Nicely done! I can almost see her. A poem that creates a beautiful image in the mind. One to be read and re-read for sheer enjoyment.

This is the first ten poem I have read today. What a thing of beauty . The only kind of poetry worth reading in my view. GW62

The last time i met and talked to a women like this, she openend her mouth and deflated my momentary fantasy, with a string of cursewords.anyway, the 'summer rain' and 'field of wheat' i could have done without, and so far this may seem a negative comment, but i liked the overall flow and im probably influenced by my own cynicism. However riveting..thats a strong word...
