Beauty And Safety Poem by Aimee Nell

Beauty And Safety

Look!
Look,
And tell me what you see.
Just the green grass,
And colorful blooms,
That surround the wall
That you hide behind.
Just the beauty,
And safety.
Hush now,
You don't need to see,
The barren wasteland
Behind the wall
That you rely on so heavily.
Just the beauty,
And safely.
Come now,
It is your time.
The beauty is dying.
The safety is crumbling.
Soon there will be nothing left.
Will you flee?
You can't hide anymore.
Will you crumble too?
Will you wander the desolation with me?
Or will you leave...
To find another safe haven?
Another safe place to stay,
Until it is corrupted too...
That's all you see.
Beauty and safely.
