I knew it was a day
i will forever miss
hence the madness to see you
in an attire you wished.

I went up and down
walked here and there
searched you in all faces
but only saw people with colourful dresses.

When i lost the hope
and cursed my luck
standing by the corridor
watching the clock tick-tock.

Then i saw you in a beautiful yellow saree
with all your grace right at my front,
within a flash of second
our conversation ended
and you went away
not to return again in similar fashion.
