When darkness is all you see
You'll realize what beast dwells in me
Crimson eyes and parted lips
All I ever give is a poison kiss

My wings are broken
Tho once I soared
Now I'm hell bound

Is it you?
Is it me?
Why has my angel gone and left me
Doesn't she know
Can't she see
The beast whispers from the pit in me

It tells me to rip my heart out
That love isn't for me
It's made for Angels
not monsters trapped in the deep

Why is it the moon can sing such a sweet silent lullaby
But I can not sleep
It seems to be
I'm the artist that can not dream

A sacred beast dwells in me
It calls my name from the depths
It whispers to me
Never shall we be set free

I am the perfect weapon
For heaven
Or for hell
My crest is redemption
My emotions call for destruction
My hands are made for both
Creation & destruction

As god is my witness
And Jesus is my judge
I'll be a saint one day
To kill my heart
It never was in me

So for now ill weep
Blood dripping from my fangs
My knuckles torn
And crimson eyes that can not see
I am the beast the beast is me
