Be Sure That It Not You... Poem by Gamaliel Scipio

Be Sure That It Not You...

There are those who stand

To doubt everything

Including their own existence

Take for instance, there are
fossils now resting at the
very summit of some of earth's
highest mountains,

Those same lifeforms can only
be found in the deepest parts
of earth's oceans

It is therefore a wise analysis
to say that maybe this earth
was once covered by the sea

Or that mountains were formed
somewhere at the seabed and
grew over time to be as tall
as they are now

Or that things now living in the
deepest parts of our oceans
once lived on the highest summits

Or at one time earth had seas
which rose higher than mountains
depositing their lifeforms
in many strange places such as
on the very peaks of mountains.

Either way, if we take that
advised look into our life’s mirror

We might be able to also analyze
then realize, that the best part
of a human's life, was at the most
important point lived in water

No scales, no gills only the most
sophisticated breathing apparatus
and a mother’s will.

However, looking at the way in
which some of us eventually grows up,
having the type of resentment
towards our parents.

For whatever the reason, we sometimes
try to treat our parents especially our
mothers, so indifferently.

This only speak volumes as to our
character, proving that some humans,
just like Jesus did for us

Only with them, the humans, there
is nothing but damnation.

Yes some 'OF US HUMANS' were actually
really and truly, born to suffer.

Be sure that it‘s not you!
