Be Not Deceived By False Teachers Poem by Cindy Wyatt

Be Not Deceived By False Teachers

Be Not Deceived By False Teachers

People who refuse the truth of the gospel
are blind leaders of the blind
False professors they are and deceivers
of the sinner's mind

If you hear the gospel and reject it
then to Hell you must go
I'm sorry to tell you it is a place
of weeping, wailing, and woe

God who created you does not want
you to go there
but he cannot let sin into Heaven
and his righteousness demands he is fair

So God in his tender love and mercy
provided salvation's plan
He sent his only begotten son from Heaven
to earth in the form of a man

God's son's name is Jesus and he
went to the cross to pay for our sin
so when we trust in His shed blood
to Heaven God will let us in

Oh, I beg you, do not be deceived by
what false teachers say
just believe God's word
which says Jesus is the only way

II John 7: For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
